At last – blossoming trees, forsythia bushes putting forth their bright yellow colours, and fresh, new leaves, both red and green ones. Spring has arrived. It is such a wonderful time of year and residents here at The Russell Hill Retirement Residence are enjoying being outside again and taking long walks.
Victoria Day weekend is also upon us, as well as a Royal wedding as Prince Harry marries this coming weekend. So, what better time for a high tea followed by the movie Victoria and Abdul? The venerable actress, Judi Dench stars in this movie about an unexpected, devoted friendship.
What is the common thread in all of this? You might say it is ‘joy’!
