Spring Forward

The first sign of Spring happens this weekend when we put our clocks forward and after the harsh winter we’ve experienced, more light in our days is a very good thing! In fact, March is a rather ‘happy’ month because it also brings St Patrick’s day on March 17, and the Vernal Equinox, otherwise known as the first day of Spring, on March 20. We see residents here at The Russell Hill truly enjoying getting outside for walks again and many are looking forward to some of the outings planned for the month: A Textile Art Exhibit (Miles Nadal Community Centre), lunch and shopping at Bayview Village Shopping Mall, and a movie at a midtown cinema.
